The ProtoCOL UV, features a high resolution camera inside a darkroom with built in UV and white light. The darkroom is designed to fit many plate types allowing you to count colonies on small or larger bioassay plates, while its auto-locking door protects you from accidental UV exposure. If you want to visualise different types of fluorescence, the system also has a filter drawer which means you can add new filters, as and when you need them.
Using ProtoCOL UV you can count fluorescent colonies and instantly save accurate images in a BMP format. Additionally, you can automatically transfer your results to Excel or a LIMS. The data generated by the ProtoCOL UV software is GLP compliant and can be used to produce professional reports and publication quality images.
