Software Engineer

The Role

The successful individual will join an experienced team of developers and be developing both new and existing software packages, working with various cameras and bespoke hardware.

Most of our products are written in C# (.Net 2.0 to .Net 3.5) utilising our range of .Net components.

In addition to your excellent analytical and problem solving skills you will have a relevant degree and have a strong interest in software development. You will be highly motivated with a professional approach to work with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience gained working in a development environment.

We practice an Agile approach and make use of continuous integration.

Required Skills

• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft .Net 2.0 or later using C#.
• A passion and talent for developing software.
• Able to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
• Good standard of written and spoken English.

Useful additional skills

• Any experience with WPF/XAML.
• Knowledge and working experience of Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL.
• Any knowledge of C++ would be an advantage, but not required.
• Experience in developing user interfaces.
• Knowledge and experience of using a form of source control (e.g. VSS/SVN).
• Any experience of NUnit.

Salary

Salary is dependant upon experience. Pension, bonus and flexible working hours.
